Upper White River: Crosses to Durham (Follow Up):
Any opportunity for me to get out on the water is an opportunity I relish. Even when the fishing is poor which was certainly the case on my most recent float on the White River. Between the two of us, dad and I only managed to catch 3 bass total. However, dad and I managed to make the most of it. The temperature that day barely got over 50 degrees but was sunny the majority of the day. As I have learned, if the sun is shining in the early afternoon, there should be a brief window of good fishing. This window came around 3:00, when finally I caught my first fish. Not only was it my first fish of the day, it was also my first Smallmouth of 2021. In case you're reading this and don't understand why that's a big deal, I recommend reading any of my other posts.
Now without further ado, I would like to present a video of me catching my first smallie of the year!
